Time4Learning We love this site!!! If you have kids you should join! #Time4Learning

June 15, 2012 by Little Leo's Mom

I wanted to share the sites that we are using for our son.  This is just 2 of them, most are free that we use but sometimes, you just need that little extra.  So my sweet boy is having trouble remembering his sounds no matter how many times we tried to say them every day or just watch videos related, etc… just stuff to try to help him remember.  So when we joined this first site, I was able to chose different levels of grade for different subjects, which was perfect he’s good at math, science and he just started social studies yesterday.  Now he’s doing great at his language arts/reading
(Learning Activities completed 59 from 5/14/12 to 6/14/12 scored 85% )!! I honestly couldn’t be more happy!!

This site offers you a great option for records keeping.  I download a month to month PDF file for record keeping, it shows how many tests taken with average score, how many quiz’s taken with scores and how many chapters completed with scores for each subject on all of them details.  They also give you a letter of enrollment you have to download and print yourself.  If you want to see a sample of these PDF files visit my sons site, I have a few of his listed there (little-leo.com).  The other site also has decent record keeping they are also listed on my sons site.

Lastly the other added bonus of using T4L and SC are that Time4Learning.com has an awesome referral program that earns you $25 for each person you refer!  If you like T4L then write an honest review and they will send you a $25 visa gift card like shown in the picture.  ( I did edit out the card number )  Plus when you sign up for Time4Learning.com you can choose free gift offer of 1 year free atSpellingCity.com

Time4Learning.com
SpellingCity.com

Now if you want to join these sites sign up first at Time4Learning.com when asked for persons name or email who referred you enter

Name: Eric Baker
Email:  ebaker72@gmail.com

Now by entering this information they are notified that we referred you.  once you join you can begin referring people to them as well just like me!  Also if you aren’t given the option to enter our name or email please just drop them an email with the name and email as the referrer.  Its gratefully appreciated!! :) ~

Then make sure to chose the gift option of Premium Membership to Vocabulary Spelling City

My honest opinion of both of these sites is they are AWESOME!!!

I’m a Proud Mama are you?

May 16, 2012 by Little Leo's Mom

I’m a Proud Mama are you?

I am because I have this sweet kid who can be a bit bossy, but still knows his place.  He loves me so much I know I’m his favorite (shhhhh dont tell daddy), I’m here day in and out spending time and teaching, playing and just listening and watching.

He really enjoys being homeschooled, I think our whole family likes the idea.  My little man learns as the days go by, sometimes faster than others and sometimes not so much.

He loves to cook and enjoys baking with me as well, as long as I’m not in a rush then he gets to do lots of stuff.  He cracks eggs, measures stuff, cuts sticks of butter and sifts but never remembers that word sift.  He has even made his own entire lasagna with just a little coaching you could say, just reminding him not to much cheese for each layer, you know so there is enough.

One of his favorite things to do is play with fondant and decorate cupcakes or a cake.  We call fondant our candy play-doh and its true that’s basically what it is.  He has made full sets of angry birds for a Easter cake we just set on a plate around some little cakes we bought from Swiss colony.

He says he wants to work in a taco bell, I explained if you want to work in the restaurant business you should run your own, that you can still cook to.  He likes that idea he wants to be a fry cook he says and a pastry chef, I just love that.  I also love cooking, baking and just making things in the kitchen that are edible.

I love that he enjoys watching the Foodnetwork channel and he loves Alton Brown, Diners, Drive ins & Dives, Paula Deene and some of the Cupcake Wars, Chopped, Food Network Challenge, etc..

All and all he just makes me proud, I’m proud to be his Mama and he’s little Sweetie Pie!!

Time4Learning.com is a Awesome New site we signed Leo up to.

May 11, 2012 by Little Leo's Mom

I must admit at first I was a little nervous, you never know what your really gonna get,  I took the chance and Leo’s account was approved this morning and he loves it already.  Its 8 am and he’s doing school work, so that says something to me.  I just wish he could sit there longer today, but later this evening its all his.  I started him off in Pre-K, I know what your thinking isn’t he kinda of old for Pre-K well yes and no.  Leo has a slight learning disability that causes him to not remember his reading and sounds so good, but he does good so far with the math.   I love that I was able to chose a higher grade level for math than for language arts.   I love this site and leo just came running to me telling me how he is writing a book about himself being a cat.

The site Time4Learning.com is Awesome and I recommend it to my friends and family who homeschool or just need a extra pick me up for their kids.  Besides whats better than playing a game to learn, or making it appear that way!  Very Pleased so far.

If you would like to sign up to Time4Learning.com
