My poor boy had to go to dentist and have some work done.  He was in a little pain after wards but very tired and lazy.  He was not given anything except the gas.

Easter 2011 We went to see the Easter Bunny that was fun. 

January 16 2011 We lost a very important part of our family My Dad, Leo’s Grandpa died in his sleep. My poor Leo is gonna miss out on his Grandpa Jenkins. My heart is Crushed. I cant write what his said I’ll just scan it and post it here, my heart breaks still just looking at his picture. I love you and miss you Dad!!!

December 25th 2010 Leo had a great christmas thanks to the folks at the HRDC and the Slocomb Senior Center. He was able to get a huge amount of toys. They were kind enough to make him there project. We have been super broke since hubby is in school full time. We will get by though. Things are going good! 

Brett Michael Gors We Found You!!! Now to get passed the adult women in your life!

Well in November 2010 we finally learned Erics sons name!!! Brett Michael Gors we found documentation and case numbers online for him being adopted and his name changing in 2004.  We are super happy about that because now we have pictures of him and found his myspace and facebook accounts.  He looks just like Eric, it really kills me inside because how can a mother keep there child from there dad especially when you look at him and you see his dad so much in him.  Brett You have a DAD his name is Eric Baker, He loves you always has.  Eric was never given the opportunity to be part of Brett’s life.  His Mother and Grandmother wont permit it!  Which is WRONG!!! What gives one parent the right to make the choice that other deserves no part or that the child should be kept from them.


Brett Did you know you have a little brother whose a couple years older than your sister.  His name is Leo he is 7 years old and was born july 21, he was born 10 years after you!  Brett I hope you can bring yourself to talk to your dad, I know you may not look at him as your dad and he knows it to, but we really hope you can call one day.  Your brother Leo he loves you!!! he dont even know you just knows of you and now we can actually say Brett to him not just his brother because we didnt even know your name.  I even feel like I love you even though I have not met you and your not related really to me but its because of Eric and Leo, Hell I’d accept and Love your mom as well.  I’m not a mean person I am open and forgiving and loving! Ok on occasion I can be are a real *($*(@# but all us women can lol! but Brett Please call Eric Call him!


Sonja just let him call his biological dad!!  Give him that opportunity to speak to him, I mean the longer you make Eric wait the worse this will end up.  Just forgive and forget! Eric Loves Brett they both deserve the chance to know each other.  Erics not that bad of a guy I mean I found him where you left him and kept him ever since!  Hes not that bad, he is a dad right now to my son, and that eats him and me up!  because he never had the chance to be there for Brett but thats not all his fault! yes he was of age to make his own decisions but you have to think he was pretty much homeless Sonja!  He had nothing to offer you NOTHING!! Except that Beautiful Boy you that had the pleasure of raising!  Yes he knows you done every thing for him and Eric has done nothing!  But why didnt you call, your mom said you’d call him after the baby was born well Eric never heard nothing, I mean he dont know when you give birth unless he’s told!  Why Didnt You Call HIM? When his child was born, Brett isnt just yours! I can look at him and see Eric all over his face WOW!!! but his mothers number stayed the same for good 4 years then she moved but she was always listed!  Eric was findable you should have filed child support on his ass I would have! but I think you figured you’d find him a daddy, someone more in your league with money, which we dont have! we wont lie and say we could ever do as much as you have, and no we arent ashamed of that, Some just people arent as lucky as others no matter how hard they work.  Thats for real!


Sonja this is from a woman who didnt have a dad growing up I had a broken promises and I know the effects of not having a dad around and other men my mom was with (2), but deep down I always wanted him there, none of her husbands could make up for my dad no matter if they tried or not! Dont do that to him let him make the call Please!  Eric knows it to, it took me a long time to finally find his dad and eric was over 30 years old! That was to long to wait for both of them.  His dad was afraid of contacting Eric I think because he felt guilty, and you best believe Eric also feels guilty!


Sonja I dont hate you or wanna argue with you or anything.  I would accept you and be friendly with you and understand as well, because I am a mother.

November 28, 2010 Uncle James Patrick Bergan, He was Aunt Amy’s husband who just passed this last september, its been a sad year. Jim you will be missed also.

Age 52, died November 28, 2010 Survived by his mother, Barbara Ann Gordon of Virginia; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Carols Pearson if Illinois; sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and John Diebolt of Gladwin, MI; sister, Kim; brother, Thomas Zyla of Dearborn; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; mother-in-law, Joan Roberts of Port Huron; sister-in-law, Sharon (Donald) Phillips of Alabama and sister-in-law, Wendy Roberts of Port Huron. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar. Jim & Amy Bergan were also members of the Christian Motorcycle Association and a member of the New Covenant Church of God.

October 2010 We finally learned Erics sons name, Brett Michael Gors. I think he hates Eric he wont talk to Eric, he blocked him on facebook. It makes Leo sad & it makes me sad, we honestly just thought that eventually he’d want to know his dad. Last 2 contacts made we were told point blank by an attorney who called and asked for me, said that harassment charges would be filed if we called again, the second time was via email after searching and searching to find info and found it. Once again told harassment charges would be filed against our Family. I just hope one day he realizes it wasnt all Erics fault that he wasnt there. His mother didnt want him there either. She left him and never tried to contact him again, Eric gave Bretts mother his ssn, id and she knew his address, we were always listed when had a phone. Eric Loves his son! I feel so bad for them both! He looks so much like Eric to OMG it kills me, and not even knowing his name until 2010 when he’s 17 years old is really bad and we only got it cuz well lets just say I’m good :)~ his birthday is next on my list I will find it. One day he’ll be on his own I guess and Eric can just call him directly.

It took 30 years before Eric talked to his dad or dads side of family, I never stopped searching for him either and I found him! Brett I understand believe me I never had a dad in my life, my dad is dead now he passed jan 16 2011 a day I will never forget and I wish even though he was not always right in the head that I could just talk to him again, just one more time. Dont miss out at least taking the chance to meet your dad!

I am sorry if you dont like I say dad, and I understand completely. He is still your dad though, that reason alone should be the reason to see what he’s like. You have never even had a chance to know him. You can call him Eric, Dad, Mr Baker, Jerk, or whatever say to him what you feel! Let him know because I know (maybe not totally the same but I do know).

Hey if you dont want to talk to him would you consider opening up and talking to Leo? He has always been told about you but we always just said your brother cuz we didnt have name to say :( He loves you he knows what you look like now thanks to newspapers in Almont. He just wants to say hello to you. He does have a facebook he did add you as friend but he said you havent replied. He’s not the best yet at typing but I can reply to you for him. Add him Brett Any one else that attempts to add that profile will be blocked, he’s 8 only his family is on his profile! He dont even have full control of it I upload the pictures for family around usa to see. not every one can find his site and I got lazy here hehe since social network sites they make it easier to update. Anyways, Brett give at least Leo a shot he’s just a kid and he sooo wants to know u………..

Also we are so proud of you going to college for Cinematography, so cool :) I personally would love to see a graduation picture and a picture of you from every birthday you’ve had, I know ur Dad would to.
